A couple days ago I got a mail from Otago that said that the copy of my passport was not approved. The copy was not copied and certified in the right way, so I have to do this again. This was just a small bump, but it ment that I had to wait to send my visa application, because I was under the impression that my passport had to be sendt with in the visa application. But then I found out that a friend of my boyfriend, which is travelling with us to Otago, didn't send his passport. This made us think that we didn't have to either. Yesterday I posted my visa application to the embassy in London, (finally!) but without my passport! Today I got a call from my boyfriend who can tell me that his friend's application has been denied and returned to Norway because he didn't send his passport!! If only I had waited 1 day, this would not be a problem right now. BAH, so now we're trying to find out if we can send our passports now, individually, before they decline our applications and return them too. But, somehow, I doubt that they will accept that.
Hopefully all this will be fixed as soon as possible!
I also booked my ANSA insurance today too, because the school's insurance option (which I had planed to use) is not going to cover the whole period we are travelling. (I'll post the check list later.) The other problem with booking an insurance from other companies than the one the school cooperates with is that they might not approve it. ANSA told me they have had some problems with schools in New Zealand considering this subject, but I don't know if it is Otago or another school.
